Here is an info-graphic that I developed to summarize ten common strategies that are used to help ELLs across all contents. Although this is not an exhaustive list of best practices to support language in a diverse classroom, these are strategies that I feel I can readily implement into my classroom in the future. This depiction may be a valuable source to not only teachers and school leaders, but also parents of ELLs. This shows parents some of the techniques that teachers are using to help their child learn English in conjunction with content material. It can easily be adapted to other languages so it can be understood by a greater audience.
